About Our Founder
Dr. Williana Basuki
BVSc (Hons), MS, MANZCVS, DAVDC®
Board Certified Veterinary Dentist®
Registered Specialist
Dr. Will Basuki was born and raised in Jakarta, Indonesia. She graduated from University of Queensland in 2010.
She worked as a small animal GP before joining Queensland Veterinary Specialists and Pet ER for two years of rotating and surgery internships.
She pursued her career and accepted a 3-year residency position in dentistry and oral surgery with a master's degree at Colorado State University. She then worked as a vet dental specialist and became an Adjunct Associate Professor at Tufts University.
She returned to Australia in 2020 to be the first and only registered dental specialist (small animal) in QLD.
Will is a well-known speaker both nationally and internationally, and she is also an active committee member in both ANZCVS (examiner) and AVDC. She is also an Adjunct Lecturer at University of Queensland.
She owns two cats (Felix & Sabertooth) and used to own two hamsters in the USA (Truffle & Oyster).

In these cases, we work alongside a veterinary anaesthesia specialist throughout your pet’s procedure and recovery.

Our founder, Dr. Will Basuki, is the first and only registered veterinary dental specialist in Queensland to have completed formal, full-time specialist training in the United States.
